The origin from our pigeons

One of my best pigeon friends is Winand van Engelshoven. He delivered me the 7th provincial Irun and the 1st G.G. Marseille, 7th provincial, 45th National and the 122nd international against almost 14.000 pigeons. The 40th provincial St. Vincent is also from him. De Irum was also good for 6 prices on the long distanceflights.

To introduce Winand is not necessary , because he is a topper in pigeonsport because he is at the top for more than 70 years. And to be at the top you must be at your very best. Although he was at the top of the program flights and later on on the long distance flights with "de pauman", "de narbonne", "de Marseille", "de limoges", etcetera, etecetera..

The story starts is 1956 when he started on his own with pigeons, after he stood together with his father at the top. In 1959 he flew on his first Barcelona organized by the ZLU already the 15th. He was several times general champion with in 1980 the 1st provincial Boruges, but we keep it short, we did skip all other top results, we start in 1997 with the 7th National Pau. "De Pauman" flew 3 prices on Pau and is from Jan Cobben. He is the brother of "de geweldenaar" from 89 from Jan Cobben, which flew 4 times early on the long distance with as last the 3rd National Perpignan. In 1998 followed the 2nd National Marseille, the NL94-2010952. 2 pigeons back home on the same day of the liberation. 2004; 1st provincial Limoges with the NL00-1006563. 2005; he repeated this top result of 1998 with again the 2nd National Marseille with the NL02-2067006. One weak after this top result the 1st international Narbonne with the NL03-1547865. In 2006 the 1st national Narbonne with the 10. He is one of the less which can perform with less pigeons. On many flights he has no more than 3 or 4 pigeons with which he can compete with.

His stock is mainly based on the earlier mentioned Cobben pigeons and from the black Murderers from Braakhuis reinforced with the Kluten pigeons and also a little bit of the Kustersen pigeons from his old Tossens stock.

With the knowledge that van Engelshoven didn't buy any other pigeons the last 10 years, I decided to get 3 couples eggs in 2005; the result is known ; 1st long distance marathon 2008, 2nd in 2009, 4th long distance marathon yearlings 2009, 5th ace pigeon 2009 and 10th ace pigeon 2009. This all thanks to Winand.

The second man which has it's input into this success is Frans van Peperstraeten, mostly with grandchildren of the "superkoppel". This ones I did cross with the those from Winand. The 7th provincial Irun comes from the 77777 x the 717. There is                   also the Dusaer sort, Wijnands, A.P. Overwater, Theelen and Bruggeman.

To introduce Frans isn't necessary. We all know what he did                  achieve in this sport. Meanwhile I have 5 direct pigeons from                 him and from his best pigeons. This year several of those                 pigeons flew prices on the long distance flights. Such as the 625 and the 636. In times I had my troubles he was a real friend and he gave the best advices. Thanks Frans, thank to you and Winand I am on the right way. With my measurement enormous results. To introduce your pigeons isn't necessary, they are world famous.
